She worked in bankruptcy law for Henrico County Attorney’s Office for over 20 years. Margaret accomplished many things during her life including graduating from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond with a Paralegal Studies Associate of Applied Science Degree and from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of History Degree. She was awarded a lifetime achievement award from the Richmond Association of Legal Assistants. Her life ended suddenly of a heart attack in the spring of 2008. Margaret was an inspiration to everyone she knew. She promoted higher education and constantly stressed professionalism and growth to fellow paralegals. She touched many with her generous and kind spirit and was a true friend to all who knew her. This $1,000 scholarship is named in her honor and memory.
